RENTER SURVEY 2024 – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Eligibility: The Renter Survey 2024 Drawing (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to those who are at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry. The Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the United States and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Zumper, Inc. (the “Sponsor”) and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Renter Survey 2024 – Terms and Conditions (the “Rules”), and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to the content. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Sweepstakes Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on July 1, 2024 and will end on August 31, 2024. All online entries must be received by August 31, 2024 11:59PM EST.
How to Enter: The Sweepstakes must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided on this Sweepstakes site. You may also enter the Sweepstakes by completing the alternative online entry form here: https://zumper2021.typeform.com/to/uapFEHYc. The entry must fulfill all Sweepstakes requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the Rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sponsor. You may enter only once and you must fill in the information requested. You may not enter more than once by using multiple email addresses, identities or devices in an attempt to circumvent the Rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the Rules your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Sponsor.
Prizes: Four (4) winners shall each receive a digital gift card of $500. The prize is non transferable and Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others by winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Participants will receive one entry for filling out the questions on the online form or alternative online entry form.
Winner selection and notification: Winners of the Sweepstakes will be selected in a random drawing performed by a computer program under the supervision of the Sponsor. Winners will be notified via email to the email address they entered in the Sweepstakes within fourteen (14) days following the winner selection. Sponsor shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to winners’ spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 15 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
Disclaimers and Limitations on Liability.
- Sponsor is not responsible for (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, postage-due, incomplete, illegible, misdirected or undeliverable entries, responses, or other correspondence, whether by email or otherwise; (ii) theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials; or (iii) phone, electrical, network, computer, hardware, software program or transmission malfunctions, failures or difficulties.
IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, DATA, BUSINESS OR PROFITS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, WHETHER SUCH LIABILITY ARISES FROM ANY CLAIM BASED UPON CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, AND WHETHER OR NOT SPONSOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS OR DAMAGE. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Indemnification. You agree to release, indemnify, defend and hold Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, sponsors and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies, and assigns, and any other organizations related to the Sweepstakes, harmless, from any and all claims, injuries, damages, expenses or losses to person or property and/or liabilities of any nature that in any way arise from participation in this Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of a prize or parts thereof, including, without limitation, (i) any condition caused by events beyond Sponsor’s control that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (ii) the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; and (iii) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes.
Additional Conditions. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes in whole or in part, if in Sponsor’s opinion (a) the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned by reason of the occurrence of any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, communications, equipment failure, utility or service interruptions, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared), interference with the Promotion by any party, or any federal, state, local or provincial government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control, or (b) any other factors beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, in all instances without liability to the entrants. Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or winner, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion.
Governing Law and Choice of Forum. These Official Rules are governed by the law of the State of California, without reference to rules governing choice of laws. Any action, suit or case arising out of, or in connection with, this Sweepstakes or these Official Rules must be brought in either the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California.
Personal Information. Sponsor may collect personal data about entrants online, in accordance with its privacy policy and as may be more specifically set forth in these Official Rules. Please review these Official Rules and Sponsor’s privacy policy, which you agree to, at /privacy-policy.
Winners List. For the name of the prize winners, available after September 21, 2024, send an email message to press@zumper.com with “Winners List” as the email subject and “Renter Survey 2024 Sweepstakes” specified in the body of the email. Requests must be received within four (4) weeks of the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
Social Media Disclaimer. You acknowledge that the Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, or any other social media companies/entities that may be used to share the Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Social Media”). You further expressly acknowledge that you are providing your information to the owner of the Sweepstakes and not to any of the Social Media. For the avoidance of any doubt, you hereby expressly release, indemnify, and hold harmless any and all Social Media, as defined above, in connection with your participation in the Sweepstakes.
