The Zumper Portland Metro Report analyzed active listings in November across 13 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Oregon state median rent last month was $1,016.

The Most Expensive

Portland, OR rent, though falling $20 to $1,330, continued to rank as the most expensive in the metro.

Lake Oswego, OR prices climbed 4%, settling at $1,310, and up one spot to rank as the second priciest.

Happy Valley, OR bumped up one spot to rank as third with one bedrooms priced at $1,260.

The Least Expensive

Forest Grove, OR rent fell 5.3%, settling at $900, and behind Oregon City’s to rank as the most affordable in the metro.

Oregon City, OR was the second least expensive city with rent priced at $960.

– Tigard, OR remained third at $980.

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

Oregon City, OR had the largest yearly rental growth rate, up 14.3%.

Tualatin, OR rent was the second fastest growing, up 12.7% since this time last year.

Lake Oswego, OR ranked as third with rent climbing 12%.

The Fastest Growing (M/M%)

Milwaukie, OR prices grew 4.8% last month, making it the fastest growing in the metro.

Gladstone, OR had the second fastest growing rent, up 4.2% since last month.

Lake Oswego, OR followed closely behind as third with rent climbing 4%.
