Cities Ranked By Rent

The Most Expensive

–Novi, MI saw rent grow $40 to $1,230 but remain the most expensive city in the metro.

–Troy, MI continued to rank as second, though rent jumped $50 to $1,210.

–Livonia, MI was third with one bedrooms priced at $1,100.

The Least Expensive

–Detroit, MI stayed the most affordable city with rent at $610.

–Pontiac, MI rent dropped $10 to $690 but continued to be the second least expensive.

–Taylor, MI ranked as third with rent at $740.

Growth Rate

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

–Pontiac, MI had the fastest growing rent since this time last year, up 15%.

Livonia, MI rent was the second fastest growing, climbing 12.2%.

–Taylor, MI followed closely behind as third with rent jumping 12.1%.

The Fastest Growing (M/M%)

Southfield, MI rent had the largest monthly growth rate, up 4.5%.

Troy, MI saw rent climb 4.3%, making it second.
