Today, Zumper announced an integration with Facebook Marketplace to provide more rental listings to people in Canada. Following the positive outcome for its integration with Facebook Marketplace in the US, Zumper is excited to once again be a listing partner in its home rentals expansion to Canada.

People on Facebook Marketplace in Canada can now filter and browse properties listed by landlords and brokers on Zumper & PadMapper, click to view up-to-date details such as price, square footage, and pet restrictions, and send a message to set up a tour or start an application.

“The last few months of the Zumper and Facebook Marketplace integration have been very successful in the US, so we are thrilled to see it expand into Canada. Zumper has been helping people in Canada find apartments since 2016 when we acquired PadMapper, a very popular brand in Canada, and it’s a natural extension to now bring this inventory to Facebook Marketplace too,” said Anthemos Georgiades, CEO and co-founder of Zumper.

For individual landlords, this expansion of Zumper’s integration with Facebook will maximize their audience, with about 19 million people in Canada accessing Facebook every day, and provide a way to automatically syndicate listings to Marketplace by posting to Zumper Pro or PadMapper’s Post a Pad. Zumper’s large multifamily clients will also be able to take advantage of this new audience. For renters, Zumper’s website and app, along with sister-platform PadMapper, already lists hundreds of thousands of rental properties across Canada every month. With customizable alerts and listings updated in real-time, Zumper users can have access to the newest inventory and be first in line for a perfect apartment. These properties will now be at the fingertips of people using Facebook Marketplace in Canada.
