If you like feeling a part of something exclusive that requires a secret handshake or password, then Monkey Bar will be right up your alley. Don’t expect a traditional speakeasy though, it doesn’t date back to the times of prohibition and you don’t need to locate a secret door, but it is discreet, quiet, and known for drawing in a lowkey famous crowd. Climb the stairs at Mi Cocina to the third floor to find this tucked away cocktail lounge.

When you want a no-frills bar to throw back a couple of beers, go to what’s been coined Dallas’s Most Authentic Dive Bar, Lakewood Landing.
