Houston rent pricesĀ came in as theĀ 22nd highest in the country this spring, as one bedrooms dipped 2% in the month of May to a median of $990. Two bedrooms similarly dropped 1.6% in the same period, settling at a median of $1,230. On our list of rent prices across the largest US metro regions, Houston placed ahead of Milwaukee, Virginia Beach, and Raleigh.At a neighborhood level, the most expensive areas centered around The Museum District ($1,935), Downtown Houston ($1,460), and Greenway – Upper Kirby ($1,495). On the flip side, relative deals could be found to the northeast and southeast of the city, within the $500-$600 range.
