Cities Ranked By Rent
The Most Expensive
–Portland, OR saw rent grow $10 to $1,360 but continue to rank as the priciest city.
–Happy Valley, OR followed closely behind as second with one bedrooms priced at $1,320.
–Lake Oswego, ORÂ outpaced Hillsboro to rank in the top 3 markets with rent growing $50 to $1,290.
The Least Expensive
-Forest Grove, ORÂ rent increased $20 to $1,020 but remained the most affordable in the metro.
–Tualatin, ORÂ dropped 3 spots to rank as the second least expensive city with one bedrooms falling $30 to $1,100.
–Oregon City & Gresham, OR tied for third with rents both at $1,110.
Growth Rate
The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
–Hillsboro, ORÂ had the fastest growing rent, up 15.5% since this time last year.
–Tigard, ORÂ followed closely behind as second with rent climbing 15.3%.
–Forest Grove, ORÂ was third with rent jumping 14.6%.
The Fastest Growing (M/M%)
–Gladstone, ORÂ had the largest monthly rental growth rate, up 4.6%.
–Lake Oswego, ORÂ saw rent climb 4% last month, making it the second fastest growing.
