This marks a tremendous milestone in our long-stated mission of making renting an apartment as easy as booking a hotel room.

In order to become the largest independent rental marketplace, we’ve worked hard to deliver intuitive, effective tools for landlords to post their properties and start receiving renter leads quickly. When you advertise with Zumper, your listings are syndicated across our network, which includes some of the largest platforms in search and social channels like Bing and Facebook Marketplace.

With our new digital lease signing tool, we’re demonstrating that we want to help landlords do much more than just advertise their property. We also want to help them sign a lease with the right tenant quickly, easily, and securely.
The latest addition comes via our partnership with DocuSign and enables users to create and customize a lease document for electronic signature. Thanks to a full rich text editor, users can easily make changes to Zumper’s lease template, which automatically fills in lease details entered by the user, or paste the text of their own lease documents and use the tool for online lease signing.
Collecting Rent
For us, a good rent collection solution needs to be faster than a paper check and brings all the ease and contact-free convenience of digital tools like AutoPay and automated reminders. Since the introduction of our rent payment tool last year, we’ve continued to innovate in the rent payment space to accomplish those feats and more. This year, our partnership with CardConnect allows us to offer industry-leading speed that gets money deposited in your bank account as early as the next day and the ability to manage custom, one-time charges like security or pet deposits.

Even though we’ve built the remaining foundational tool in the fully digital rental experience, we’re continuing to innovate on top of these tools and services.
