Cities Ranked By Rent
The Most Expensive
–Arlington, VA outpaced D.C. to rank as the most expensive city with rent at $2,180.
–Washington, DC dropped a spot to become second with one bedrooms priced at $2,160.
–Bethesda, MD saw rent climb to $2,100 and continue to rank as third.
The Least Expensive
–Frederick, MD rent rose $20 to $1,250 but stayed the most affordable in the metro.
–Silver Spring, MD ranked as second with rent at $1,640.
–Rockville, MD dropped one spot, behind Alexandria, to become the third least expensive with rent decreasing $20 to $1,700.
Growth Rate
The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
–Reston, VA continued to have the largest year over year growth rates, climbing 13.2%.
–Frederick, MD was second with rent growing 9.6% since this time last year.
The Fastest Growing (M/M%)
–Bethesda, MD had the fastest growing rent last month, up 5%.
