Cities Ranked By Rent
The Most Expensive
–Washington, DC rent dropped $60 to $2,280 but continued to be the most expensive in the metro.
–Arlington, VA remained as second priciest with one bedrooms at $2,150.
–Bethesda, MD ranked as third with rent at $2,120.
The Least Expensive
–Frederick, MD rent grew $30 to $1,130 and continued to rank as the least expensive.
–Alexandria, VA dropped 2 spots, now behind Silver Spring and Rockville, to rank as the second least expensive city with rent at $1,680.
–Silver Spring, MD was third with one bedrooms priced at $1,700.
Growth Rate
The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
–Reston, VAÂ had the fastest growing rent since this time last year, up 15.4%.
–Washington, DCÂ rent had the second largest monthly growth rate, climbing 14.6%.
The Fastest Growing (M/M%)
–Rockville, MD, similar to last month, was the only city with a large monthly rental growth rate, increasing 4.3%.
