Cities Ranked By Rent
The Most Expensive
–Arlington, VA held onto its position as the priciest city with rent staying stable at $2,180.
–Washington, DC was second with one bedrooms priced at $2,150.
–Bethesda, MD followed closely behind as third with rent at $2,140.
The Least Expensive
–Frederick, MD saw rent climb another $50 to $1,300 but continued to rank as the most affordable in the metro.
–Silver Spring, MD rent grew $20 to $1,640 but remained the second least expensive.
–Rockville, MD ranked as third with rent at $1,660.

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
–Frederick, MD had the fastest growing rent since this time last year, up 12.1%.
–Reston, VA followed closely behind as second with rent climbing 12%.
