Cities Ranked By Rent
Most Expensive
–Arlington, VA was the most expensive city to rent in the metro area with one bedroom units priced at a median of $2,380.
–Bethesda, MD followed suit with a median rent of $2,150.
–Washington, DC ranked as the third priciest city at $2,040.
Least Expensive
–Frederick, MD was the most affordable city with rent priced at a median of $1,110.
–Reston, VA, a few hundred dollars more, had the second most affordable rent. One bedroom units were priced at a median of $1,570.
–Rockville, MD ranked as the third least expensive city at $1,630.
Yearly Growth Rate
Fastest Growing
–Reston, VA had the fastest growing rents in the metro area, up 14.6% since this time last year.
–Silver Spring, MD ranked as second with a 4.3% yearly growth rate.
–Arlington, VA rent was the third fastest growing, climbing 2.1%.
