Coming ahead of Memphis, Albuquerque, and El Paso, Columbus ranked as the 87th most expensive city to rent in the nation. The price of one bedroom units grew 4.7% to $670 last month, while two bedrooms jumped 5.3% to an even $1,000.

This spring, for our first ever Columbus neighborhood rent map, Harrison West ($1,250), Brewery District ($1,200), and Downtown Columbus ($1,200) ranked as the most expensive areas. Mid-range priced rentals, for $700 or less, could be found in Clintonville, Milo-Grogan, and Franklinton.
The most affordable neighborhoods, all priced at $500 and under, were South Linden, Tri-South, South Central Accord, and Bexley.
