Dropping 4 spots last month, Columbus ranked as the 79th most expensive city with one bedroom rent dropping 3.8% to $770 and two bedrooms increasing 1.9% to $1,070. Notably, on a year over year basis, two bedroom rent is up over 16%.

While Victorian Village and Southside had some of the fastest growing rents since last quarter, both up around 14%, McKinley Avenue Corridor, also known as Marble Cliff Crossing, took the biggest rent dip, down over 14%.

This fall, Harrison West ($1,360) and Downtown Columbus ($1,350) were the most expensive neighborhoods to rent. All priced at or above $1,200, Italian Village, Victorian Village, and Brewery District followed behind as the next priciest areas. More affordable rentals priced around the city one bedroom median of $770 could be found in Worthington and Clintonville.

Meanwhile, the most affordable neighborhoods included North Central, South Linden, and Bexley.
