Cities Ranked By Rent
Most Expensive
–Columbia, MD continued to reign as the most expensive city to rent in the metro area. Rent here was $1,390 this month.
–Annapolis, MD, only $10 behind Columbia, ranked as the second priciest city with rent at $1,380.
–Owings Mills, MD rent was the third most expensive this month at a median of $1,320.
Least Expensive
–Brooklyn Park, MD remained the least expensive city with rent priced at $710.
–Dundalk, MD ranked as the second most affordable city at $830.
–Arbutus, MD rent fell $50 this month to $880, making it the third least expensive city to rent.
Yearly Growth Rate
Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
–Dundalk, MD rent had the fastest yearly growth rate, up 10.7%.
–Owings Mills, MD had the second fastest growing rent, up 8.2% since this time last year.
–Aberdeen, MD rent grew 7.8% since this time last year, making it third.
Fastest Growing (M/M%)
–Aberdeen, MD, in the top three rankings for fastest yearly rents, also had the fastest monthly growth rate as well. Rent here increased 5.4% since last month.
–Dundalk, MD had the second fastest growing monthly rents, up 5.1%.
–Baltimore, MD rent was third, growing 4.5% since last month.
